Cipchat aims to never collect or store any sensitive information. Cipchat's messages and calls cannot be accessed by us or other third parties because they are always end-to-end encrypted, private and secure. We are committed to adopting corresponding security protection measures to protect your personal information in accordance with relevant industry safety standards.

Please read and understand the "Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" (referred to as the policy) before using this product.

This policy applies to the software application or the company's related websites and products and services linked to this "Terms of Service and Privacy Policy". Our terms of service and privacy policy are as follows.

1. Terms of Service

Cipchat utilizes the most advanced security and end-to-end encryption to provide global users with private messaging, network calls and other services. If you install or use our applications, services or websites (collectively referred to as "services"), you understand and agree to our terms of service (hereinafter referred to as "terms").

About our services

Minimum age:You must be at least 13 years old to use our services.

Account registration:To create an account, you must register for our service using your phone number. You agree to receive SMS and phone calls (from us or our third-party provider) with a verification code to register for our service.

Privacy of user data: Cipchat will never sell, rent or monetize your personal data or content in any way.

Please read our privacy policy to understand how we protect the information you provide when using our services. In order to operate our services, you agree to the data practices described in our privacy policy and the transmission of encrypted information and metadata to Singapore and other countries/regions where we own or use facilities, service providers or partners. For example, a third-party provider will send you a verification code and process your support ticket.

Software: In order to enable new and enhanced features, you agree to download and install updates to our service.

Fees: The services provided include free services and paid services. For paid services, we will give users a clear reminder before you use them. Only when the user confirms that he agrees to pay according to the prescribed payment method and completes the payment, can the user use the paid service. The completion of the payment behavior is subject to the confirmation notice of "payment completed" generated by the bank or third-party payment platform.

Use Cipchat

Our terms and policies: You must use our services in accordance with our terms and published policies. If we disable your account because you violated these terms, you will not be able to create another account without our permission.

Legal and Acceptable Use: You agree to use our services only for lawful, authorized and acceptable purposes. You will not use (or assist others to use our services) in the following ways:

1. Infringe or violate the rights of Cipchat, our users or others, including privacy, publicity, intellectual property or other exclusive rights;

2. Involve sending illegal or prohibited communications, such as bulk messaging, automatic messaging and automatic dialing.

Harmful to Cipchat: You must not (or assist others) to damage, access, use, modify, distribute, transfer or utilize our Cipchat services in an unauthorized manner. For example, you must not

1. Obtain or attempt to access our services or systems without authorization;

2. Destroy the integrity or performance of our services;

3. Create an account for our service through unauthorized or automatic means;

4. Collect information about our users in any unauthorized way;

5. Sell, rent or charge for our services.

Ensure your account security: Cipchat is designed so that privacy is protected and unauthorized third parties cannot access your messages. You are responsible for ensuring the security of your device and Cipchat account. If you lose your phone, please follow the steps on our support website to re-register for our service. When you register with a new device, the old device will stop receiving all messages and calls.

Third Party Services: Our services may allow you to access, use, or interact with third-party websites, applications, content, and other products and services. When you use third-party services, their terms and privacy policies govern your use of these services.

Your right and permission to use Cipchat

Your rights: You own the information submitted through our service. You must have access to the phone number used to register a Cipchat account.

Cipchat's rights: We own all copyrights, trademarks, domain names, logos, trade dresses, trade secrets, patents and other intellectual property rights related to our services. Unless you have our written permission, you may not use our copyrights, trademarks, domain names, logos, trade dresses, patents and other intellectual property rights.

Issuing a Cipchat license to you: Cipchat grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use our services in accordance with these terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

1. With your understanding and agreement, Cipchat only provides a platform for you to share, transmit and obtain information. You must be responsible for all actions under your registered account, including any content transmitted by users and any resulting as a result of. You should make your own judgment on the content of Cipchat and this service, and bear all risks arising from the use of the content, including risks arising from the reliance on the correctness, completeness or practicality of the content. Zero and One cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by user behavior.

2. If the user finds that anyone has violated this agreement or used the service in other improper ways, please report or complain to us immediately. and we will deal with it in accordance with the agreement.

3. The user understands and agrees that due to business development needs, we reserve the right to unilaterally change, suspend, terminate or cancel all or part of the service content of this service, and the user shall bear this risk.

Resolve disputes and termination clauses

Dispute resolution: The validity, interpretation and dispute resolution of these terms apply to the laws of the People’s Republic of Singapore. If there is any dispute or dispute between you and us, you should first settle it through friendly negotiation. If the negotiation fails, you agree to submit the dispute or dispute to the people's court with jurisdiction in our place of residence.

Termination of these terms: You can end these terms with Cipchat at any time by removing Cipchat Messenger from your device and stopping using our service. We may modify, suspend or terminate your access or use of our services at any time for any reason, such as your violation of the text or spirit of our terms, or damage, risk or possible legal risk to Cipchat. After the termination of your relationship with Cipchat, the following terms will continue to be valid: "License", "Disclaimer", "Liability Limitation", "Dispute Resolution", "Availability" and "Termination of These Terms" and "Generality".

General

Cipchat may update the terms from time to time. When we update the terms, we will update the "last modified" date associated with the updated terms. Your continued use of our services means that you accept our updated terms and replace any previous terms. You will comply with all applicable laws. Our terms cover all agreements between you and Cipchat regarding our services. If you do not agree to our terms, you should stop using our services.

If we fail to enforce any of our terms, it does not mean that we waive the right to enforce those terms. If any provision of this clause is deemed illegal, invalid or unenforceable, then the provision shall be deemed separable from our terms and shall not affect the enforceability of the remaining terms. Our service is not suitable for distribution or use in any country/region that violates local laws or makes us comply with regulations of other countries/regions. We reserve the right to restrict our services in any country/region.

Two. Privacy Policy

Cipchat utilizes the most advanced security and end-to-end encryption to provide dedicated messaging and network call services ("Services") to users around the world. Your calls and messages are always encrypted, so no one other than you and the intended recipient can share or view them.

Information you provided

Account information: When creating a Cipchat account, you need to register a phone number. The phone number is used to provide our services to you and other Cipchat users. You can choose to add other information to your account, such as your profile name and profile picture. This information is encrypted end-to-end.

Message: Cipchat cannot decrypt or otherwise access the content of your message or call. Cipchat queues end-to-end encrypted messages on its servers for delivery to temporarily offline devices (for example, phones with depleted batteries). Your message history is stored on your own device.

Other technical information is stored on our servers, including randomly generated authentication tokens, secret keys, push tokens, and other materials needed to establish calls and transmit messages. Cipchat limits these additional technical information to the minimum required to operate the service.

Contacts: Cipchat can choose to use services designed to protect the privacy of your contacts to discover which contacts in the address book are Cipchat users. Information from contacts on your device may be encrypted, hashed and transmitted to the server to determine which of your contacts are registered.

User Support: If you contact Cipchat User Support, any personal data you share with us will only be kept for researching issues and contacting you about your situation.

Manage your information: You can manage your personal information in Cipchat’s application settings. For example, you can update your profile information or choose to enable other privacy features, such as registration lock PIN.

Information we may share

Third parties: We work with third parties to provide certain services. For example, when you register for our service, our third-party provider will send a verification code to your phone number. These providers are bound by their privacy policies to protect this information. If you use other third-party services (such as Google SDK) in conjunction with our services, their terms and privacy policies will restrict your use of these services.

Other situations where Cipchat may need to share your data:

1. Meet any applicable laws, regulations, legal procedures or enforceable government requirements.

2. Enforce applicable terms, including investigating potential violations.

3. Detect, prevent or otherwise solve fraud, security or technical issues.

4. Prevent damage to the rights, property or safety of Cipchat, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.

Update

We will update this privacy policy as necessary to make it current, accurate, and as clear as possible. Your continued use of our services means that you accept our updated privacy policy.
